We at the World Anti-Extremism Network are thrilled to announce the launch of our new podcast, “Scholarly.” This series will feature scholarly talks and discussions with experts from around the world who are dedicated to defending freedom and countering extremism and authoritarianism worldwide.

Hosted by Prof. M. Abul Ahrar Ramizpoor, WAEN’s president, with more than four decades of academic and human rights experience, Scholarly will include discussions with leading experts, academics, and thought leaders who will share their knowledge and perspectives on the importance of liberty, human rights, and democratic values. Each episode will delve into critical issues, providing listeners with a deeper understanding of the challenges and solutions in promoting freedom and combating oppressive ideologies.

The podcast will be available in English, Arabic, and Persian/Dari, and will be broadcast monthly. You can listen to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Anchor, Google Podcasts, and other podcast platforms, as well as on our website.

The aim of “Scholarly” is to share the untold facts about extremism and authoritarian regimes, highlighting how totalitarians strip away people’s freedoms, and presenting strategies to counter them and defend people’s freedom and rights.

Join us as we explore pathways to a freer, more prosperous world through informed and thought-provoking conversations. Stay tuned for our first episode and become part of the dialogue that defends freedom and counters extremism and authoritarianism.

A special thanks to our donors and partners, especially the Atlas Network, for their support and enabling us to make this happen!
