The World Anti Extremism Network

The World Anti Extremism Network (WAEN) is an international non-profit organization that strives to create a world without violent extremism and authoritarianism by promoting peace, pluralism and freedom for all. Headquartered in Canada, WAEN works to combat and eradicate all forms of extremism worldwide.

WAEN is founded by a group of dedicated individuals and freedom advocates who have personally experienced the devastating impact of extremism and totalitarian regimes in their lives. They united with a shared vision and commitment in United States and Canada to end violent extremism and authoritarianism globally, so that no individual or community is divested of dignity and freedom. WAEN strives to dismantle barriers to individual freedom and opportunity, and to end radicalization that threatens stability and peace through the perpetuation of extremist ideologies.

WAEN employs a multifaceted approach to tackle extremism. This includes conducting fundamental researches, organizing conferences, raising global awareness about the dangers of extremist ideologies, promoting understanding, freedom, and the advantages of a free trade and open society, fostering free speech and critical thinking, and promoting inclusivity and social cohesion. By partnering with governments, other non-profit organizations, NGOs, and grassroots organizations, WAEN spearheads collaborative initiatives to prevent radicalization, support victims of extremism in their healing process, facilitate the rebuilding of their lives, and assist in their successful reintegration into new and secure societies. Additionally, WAEN is dedicated to rehabilitating the victims of extremism and authoritarianism, and actively engages in advocacy efforts to address the root causes of extremism, and to promote the principles of freedom, human rights, and social justice.
