At the “Freedom Stage” program by the World Anti-Extremism Network, we engage with individuals who have firsthand experience with extremism and authoritarianism and those with innovative ideas to combat these global issues. In our second episode, we are honored to feature Sir Simon Lee, an entrepreneur and freedom activist from Hong Kong. Due to escalating threats from the government and China, Sir Simon was forced to leave his homeland.

In this interview, he shares the dangers he faces if he returns to an authoritarian regime and discusses the current situation in Hong Kong. Sir Simon also highlights his work with ‘Unsubject,’ a platform dedicated to individual empowerment and ideas for change. His powerful story and commitment to fighting authoritarianism and extremism offer valuable insights into how we can combat these challenges.

We invite you to watch the interview, share it, and join us in taking steps towards ending authoritarianism and extremism. Together, we can make a difference.
