Sara Shariati is a graduate student in medical science at the University of Toronto and a founding member of University of Toronto Students for a Free Iran. As an Iranian woman, Sara understands the struggle for freedom and the importance of resisting extremism. Over the past two years, she has organized many protests and discussion events in support of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, amplifying the voices of Iranian protesters and dedicating her efforts to promoting freedom, democracy, and human rights for her homeland.
