As a passionate advocate for justice and human rights, I am a dedicated professional holding a BA in Law and Political Science from Parwan University of Afghanistan. My commitment to combating extremism and promoting peace is evident through my extensive experience in journalism, legal assistance, and human rights advocacy. My journey commenced with a Certificate in Practical Journalism from Khurshid University, where I honed my skills in storytelling and media engagement. My passion for conflict resolution further prompted me to pursue a Certificate in Arbitration and Mediation from the Afghanistan Center for Commercial Dispute Resolution, solidifying my abilities in negotiation and dispute resolution.
During my tenure as a Volunteer Reporter at the International Organization for Transitional Justice and Peace (ITJP), I meticulously researched and reported on core international crimes and human rights abuses in Afghanistan. I amplified the voices of victims, shedding light on the impact of war and atrocities on civilians. I demonstrated exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to nurturing young journalists.
In my legal capacity, I served as a Defense Lawyer Assistant at Asaan Legal Consulting Service Company, handling complex legal cases with precision and professionalism. I provided crucial legal guidance to clients and maintained meticulous case documentation. I am capable of engaging with diverse communities and advocating for inclusive solutions. My unwavering dedication to justice and human rights makes me a valuable Ambassador to the World Anti-Extremism Network. My experience in conflict resolution, journalism, and legal advocacy will significantly contribute to WAEN’s mission of combating extremism and authoritarianism worldwide.
