
Bendjedid Rachad Sanoussi

Bendjedid Rachad Sanoussi is an ICT specialist with a contagious enthusiasm for human rights and environmental protection. He advocates for the inclusion of youth perspectives in policies and believes that digital technologies must contribute to a more sustainable future. His passion, determination, and ambition have led him to become an active community member and advocate for the SDGs, sharing and transmitting hope to young people through his work and community engagements.
Currently, Rachad is pursuing a PhD in digital and artificial intelligence for management. He serves as the Secretary-General at Internet Society Benin and provides technical support for Digital Grassroots, a youth-led organization working to increase digital citizenship at the local level. He has experience engaging youth in addressing community issues through digital literacy, communication, networking, and activism. Additionally, he serves as the Projects and Partnerships Assistant at Ecolotrip, a youth-led organization focused on environmental protection and combating climate change.
Rachad actively participates in dialogues and learning opportunities through workshops, consultations, and forums, aspiring to become a policy analyst. Previously, he worked as an ICT Engineering Support at UNDP, a communication intern at ITU, and a lab technician at the University of Abomey-Calavi. He also dedicated himself to the role of social media ambassador for the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF), a multi-stakeholder forum dedicated to promoting the landscape approach.
