Abdullah O. Bility

I am Abdullah O. Bility, a young Peacebuilder and Youth Peace and Security Practitioner from Liberia, with six years of experience in peacebuilding, advocacy, volunteering, and youth development. I have spearheaded numerous local peacebuilding initiatives aimed at empowering young people and supporting communities in Liberia. My work extends beyond peacebuilding to address critical issues such as ending child marriage, combating sexual and gender-based violence, and fostering youth development. I strive to strengthen the effective participation of youth in peacebuilding negotiations, support young women and men to accelerate local peacebuilding efforts, institutionalize the implementation of the Youth Peace and Security Agenda, and promote meaningful youth engagement in policy and practice at all levels.
I am a Steering Committee Member for the West and Central African Region at UNOY Peacebuilders and a member of the African Youth Advocacy Team (A-YAT). Additionally, I volunteer as the Founder and Executive Director of Peace Agents Network, where I manage organizational programs, oversee strategic planning, collaborate with the Board of Directors, and work with funding partners.
Furthermore, I serve as the Vice President for International Affairs of the Federation of Liberian Youth, where I oversee the organization’s international programs and partnerships. In this role, I negotiate high-level agreements to increase international collaborations and opportunities, and effectively manage cross-cultural communication and diplomacy efforts.
