
Sarah Teich

Sarah Teich is the co-founder and president of Human Rights Action Group and a legal advisor to Secure Canada. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and is licensed to practise law in both Ontario and New York. Sarah has represented clients at all levels of court and has testified before multiple parliaments, including the Canadian House of Commons and Senate, the Australian Senate, and the U.K. House of Lords. Her work has earned several awards and recognitions, including the 2022 Hon. David Kilgour Global Humanitarian Leader of the Year Award, and recognition as one of Canada’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers of 2024 by Canadian Lawyer. She is a senior fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, where she focuses on foreign policy and international law. Sarah was blacklisted by Russia in September 2022 and by China in December 2024.
