Where Ideas Become Informed Action: International Human Rights Certificate for Young Leaders – 8th Edition

Applications are now open for the November 2026 Cohort (8th Edition) of the International Human Rights Certificate for Young Leaders, a global online learning initiative organized by the World Anti-Extremism Network (WAEN).

Throughout this one-month program, participants will:

  • Engage with international human rights experts through interactive live webinars
  • Explore real-world cases and perspectives on human rights, freedom, and civic space
  • Develop and write an article addressing a human rights issue in their country or within a global context

  • The November Edition (8th Edition) will take place in November 2026.
  • Applications must be submitted by 26 October 2026 at 12:00 PM (ET).

Why Participate?

The program brings together emerging leaders from diverse regions and backgrounds, creating opportunities to learn from different experiences and perspectives. Participants will deepen their understanding of human rights while exploring contemporary challenges related to freedom, civic participation, authoritarianism, and resilience.
