With over 13 years of experience, he is an accomplished author, translator, and book reviewer. Avinash holds a postgraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Notably, he is among the few Indian journalists who unabashedly advocate for free-market competition, consistently writing about market-based solutions to policy-related issues in Hindi.

His op-eds and columns on liberal ideas, entrepreneurship, minimal government interference in the market process, the education system, transparency, and accountability regularly feature in national dailies. Avinash is a visible presence on various news channels, engaging in discussions on policy-related matters.

Avinash has translated several books into Hindi, authored and edited by some of the world’s foremost policy experts and thinkers. These include titles such as ‘Peace, Love, Liberty,’ ‘Morality of Capitalism,’ ‘The Law,’ ‘Public Choice: A Primer,’ ‘Poverty and Freedom,’ ‘Environmental Challenges: The Tragedy of Collectives,’ and ‘Social Change and Public Policy.’

He has previously served as the Associate Director of Advocacy and Communication at the renowned policy think tank Centre for Civil Society. Additionally, Avinash held the position of editor at www.azadi.me, India’s first liberal web portal in Hindi, for over a decade.
