Join the August 2026 Cohort of the International Human Rights Certificate for Young Leaders – 7th Edition

Applications are now open for the August 2026 Cohort (7th Edition) of the International Human Rights Certificate for Young Leaders, a global online learning initiative organized by the World Anti-Extremism Network (WAEN).
Throughout this one-month intensive program, participants will:
- Take part in interactive live webinars led by international human rights experts
- Examine real-world case studies focused on human rights, freedom, and civic resilience
- Prepare an article exploring a human rights issue in their country or within a global context

- The August Edition (7th Edition) will take place from 1 August 2026 to 31 August 2026.
- Applications must be submitted by 25 July 2026 at 12:00 PM (ET)
Why Participate?
The program brings together emerging leaders from diverse regions of the world, including those navigating complex political and social contexts. It aims to deepen participants’ understanding of international human rights principles while exploring practical approaches to addressing challenges related to authoritarianism, extremism, and civic resilience. Participants will also have the opportunity to reflect on how these lessons can be applied to promote freedom, justice, and positive change within their communities.
